MOSCOW, Nov 24 - RIA Novosti. The holding company "Roselectronics" (part of Rostec) presented at the international telecommunications summit in Moscow a new version of a secure laptop that allows you to safely store secret information, the company said.
The laptop was developed at the Luch plant (part of the Constellation concern of the Roselectronics holding) and supplemented the line of protected laptops mass-produced for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
"The computer has a domestic MSVS operating system and the Sobol trusted boot module, which provides protection against unauthorized access. This allows you to safely store and process confidential information, including the "top secret" level of information, the company said.
According to Roselectronics, thanks to the use of magnesium alloy, the weight of the device is reduced by 30% while maintaining the characteristics of strength and tightness.
Such a portable computer, in particular, is designed for field tests of equipment, military exercises and operations.
In addition, according to Andrey Pestryaev, CEO of the Luch plant, during the forum, the laptop aroused "great interest among representatives of the oil and gas sector, since it allows you to create a reliable IT infrastructure regardless of territorial or climatic conditions," the release notes.
