MOSCOW, November 23/ Sputnik Radio. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan highly appreciated Russia's role in ensuring the security of the republic and the contribution of Russian peacekeepers to maintaining peace in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
The Armenian Prime Minister added that he considers the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) not only as a platform for the development of strategic relations with the Russian Federation, but also as a channel for multilateral cooperation.
In this regard, Yerevan intends to work to ensure that the CSTO continues to take an active part in ensuring security in the South Caucasus.
Russia is also a friendly country for Azerbaijan, Pashinyan continued, so Moscow is trying to find a solution to the problem in the region by non-forceful means.
He recalled that on November 18, the Russian Defense Ministry proposed to begin preparations for the demarcation and delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that the Kremlin announced talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan.
