Tashkent. November 23. INTERFAX - The Ministries of Defense of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have signed an agreement on cooperation in the military sphere, the press service of the Uzbek defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.
According to her, Defense Ministers of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Bakhodyr Kurbanov and Murat Bektanov discussed the state and prospects of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation in Tashkent.
"Following the meeting, an agreement was signed between the Ministries of Defense of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, which includes a number of measures for cooperation in the military sphere," the message reads.
According to the press service, the ministers noted the importance and significance of conducting joint exercises, and also discussed issues of regional security and the exchange of experience of military personnel in the field of combat training.
