Kiev. November 23. INTERFAX-UKRAINE - US and UK Defense Ministers Lloyd Austin and Ben Wallace assured him during talks with Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov that very serious consultations were taking place between other partners of the Alliance and the EU on their readiness to take very decisive steps ahead of the curve allegedly in connection with "the actions of the Russian Federation on the border with Ukraine," Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said.
"I was assured of unconditional support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within the borders recognized by the international community. And I was assured that very serious consultations are taking place between other partners of the Alliance countries and the EU on their readiness to take very decisive steps, and ahead of the curve. This will concern both political and economic steps, including certain assistance to Ukraine," Reznikov said on the air of the program "Freedom of Speech" on the ICTV channel on Monday.
According to him, he had the opportunity to meet not only with the US Secretary of Defense, but also with representatives of the US State Department, the National Security and Defense Council, senators, representatives of Congress.
