Moscow. November 22. INTERFAX - Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and neural network algorithms were discussed by participants of the joint scientific and technical conference of Shvabe Holding and Dux Company.
"Performances (...)They touched upon the development of neural network methods of target recognition in on-board optoelectronic equipment and automation of decryption of graphic information using neural network algorithms in Earth remote sensing complexes," the Shvabe press service said in a statement released on Monday.
The conference participants also presented reports on improving the intellectual capabilities of surveillance systems and the use of AI in medicine.
A special collection is planned to be released to familiarize specialized specialists and industry experts with these and other projects, the press service informs.
According to her, as part of the business program, a plenary session was held and two thematic sections worked. The specialists of the parent organization "Shvabe", the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after Yalamov, the Krasnogorsk Plant named after Zverev and the NGO "State Institute of Applied Optics" spoke on behalf of the holding.
Sergey Popov, Deputy General Director of Shvabe for Advanced Research and Development, head of the priority technological direction for optoelectronics and photonics technologies, notes that due to the rapid development of AI technologies, new tasks and solutions are being formed, companies are actively introducing modern tools into work processes, enterprises are digitalizing production and upgrading products.
"Our holding has experience in this field, actively uses the latest technical solutions and continues to develop. The initiatives announced at the conference are highly relevant and may yield positive results in the future," Popov said, as quoted by the press service.
