Fighters of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan killed about 20 Taliban (banned in Russia) during regular clashes in Panjshir province.
This was told by a source with reference to one of the surviving radicals.
According to him, fierce fighting unfolded in the village of Anava. All the victims moved to Panjshir from Kunduz province. Eight Turkmens and ten Pashtuns were among those killed. Two more were captured.
The source pointed out that this FNSA attack was the deadliest since the radicals entered Panjshir.
Clashes took place in several other districts of the province. The fighting unfolded in the villages of Gulzangar in the Hisorak gorge, Rukha and Sanguna in the city of Bazarak, which is located in the center of Panjshir. However, information about the victims of these battles is not known.
According to the radical, the fighters of the National Resistance Front managed to destroy a Taliban armored vehicle, inside of which there were seven people. Another militant was killed in Baghlan province. After that, the Taliban sent reinforcements from Kabul. The radicals began to search the homes of local residents.
Earlier, FNSA participants destroyed a Taliban armored vehicle for the first time and showed it on video. The video captures a dilapidated military equipment lying in a pit filled with stones, says Sputnik Tajikistan.
