The Ministry of Defense of Armenia showed video footage of the destruction of Azerbaijani military equipment at the border, where, according to the Armenian side, local battles are taking place. The video was published on the channel of the Ministry of Defense media resource on YouTube.

The video lasts less than 30 seconds. The footage shows how a tank-like object is being blown up in the valley between the mountains. At the same time, people run away from him.

Earlier on Tuesday, the ministry reported on the dead and wounded as a result of clashes with the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. According to the latest data, 12 Armenian servicemen were captured. Yerevan accused Baku of the attack and appealed to Moscow to help protect the territorial integrity of the country.

Azerbaijan also confirms the tension on the border with Armenia, but assures that the provocations were carried out by the Armenian side. It is noted that in response, anti-tank weapons and mortars of the opposite side were destroyed.

The day before, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan accused Azerbaijan of invading the country's territory. On November 14, it became known that Baku attempted an offensive in the eastern direction of the border with Armenia, after which a shootout ensued.

On November 10, it was reported that Armenia and Azerbaijan will place border checkpoints on the highway leading to Iran. Later it became known that an unknown man threw a grenade at an Azerbaijani checkpoint in the vicinity of the city of Shusha in Karabakh.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have disputed the ownership of Nagorno-Karabakh since 1988. Then the region, where mostly Armenians live, declared its secession from the Azerbaijani SSR. During the 1992-1994 military conflict, Baku lost control over Karabakh. In September 2020, Baku took control of a number of settlements during military operations, in particular, the villages of Garakhanbeyli and Yukhary of the Fuzuli district and a number of villages of the Jabrayil district. On November 8, 2020, the city of Shusha came under the control of Azerbaijan.

In November 2020, after a large-scale military conflict in Karabakh, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, together with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed an agreement on the cessation of hostilities in this region.
