The Russian Federation has repeatedly submitted drafts of relevant agreements to the UN General Assembly and the Conference on Disarmament. In June 2014, an updated version of the Russian-Chinese draft treaty on the prevention of the deployment of weapons in outer space, the use of force or the threat of force against space objects was presented at the Conference.
