MOSCOW, November 15/ Sputnik Radio. Deliveries of two Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense systems to Myanmar are expected in two years. This was announced by the director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS) of Russia Dmitry Shugaev, RIA Novosti reports
"Delivery is tentatively expected in 2023," Shugaev said at the Dubai Airshow 2021.
The contract for the supply of "Shells" was signed in January 2021 during a visit to Myanmar by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. In addition to missile and cannon complexes, Russia will supply the country with Orlan-10E reconnaissance drones and radar stations.
