DUBAI (UAE), Nov 14 - RIA Novosti. The pre-contract work for the supply of the S-400 air defense system abroad is very intense, serious consultations and clarification of the needs of each customer are required, Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport, told reporters.
Earlier, at the Army-2021 forum, he said that negotiations were underway for the supply of S-400 with seven countries in Asia and Africa.
"The delivery of such high-tech systems as the S-400 Triumph air defense system requires serious consultations and clarification of the individual needs of each customer. This factor makes the pre-contract work more intense than when discussing the supply of more mass-produced products in standard configuration," Mikheev said on the first day of the Dubai Airshow 2021 exhibition in the United Arab Emirates.
At the same time, he stressed that partners from Asia and the Middle East, if necessary, will wish to announce the acquisition of these highly efficient and unique systems for the world market.
Russia has so far delivered the S-400 to China, Turkey and started supplying India.
