According to the company's CEO Alexander Mikheev, the entire portfolio of orders exceeds $ 52 billion
DUBAI, November 14. /tass/. The Middle East region accounts for about 30% of the volume of Rosoboronexport's order portfolio (part of Rostec State Corporation). This was announced to TASS by the company's CEO Alexander Mikheev during the Dubai Airshow 2021 International Airshow.
"The share of the Middle East countries is about 30% of the total portfolio of Rosoboronexport orders, which today exceeds $52 billion," he said.
According to him, Rosoboronexport has coped with the difficulties caused by the pandemic of a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19). "As for the COVID-19 pandemic, of course, last year there were difficulties in the negotiation processes due to global restrictions, but we managed to cope with them quite quickly through joint efforts. According to our estimates, the Middle East has suffered relatively small economic losses due to timely measures taken by the authorities of the countries of the region," Mikheev added.
Dubai Airshow is one of the largest international aviation and space exhibitions and is held in the UAE once every two years. Russia has been participating in it since 1993.
