The S-550 anti-aircraft missile system being developed in Russia will become the world's first mobile specialized anti-missile and anti-space defense system. The basis for the new SAM is the S-500 Prometheus system.
As military expert Alexey Leonkov told Sputnik radio, the S-550 "sees" the whole complex of modern targets, including low-visibility stealth and hypersonic.
And according to RIA Novosti, the capabilities of the S-550 to intercept ballistic missile warheads of various ranges, as well as means of space attack, will be an order of magnitude higher than those of the S-400 and S-500, as well as American THAAD and Aegis missile defense systems with SM-3block llB missiles.

S-500 is a long-range and high-altitude interception complex with a high missile defense potential. Prometheus strikes not only ballistic, but also aerodynamic targets, and cruise missiles within a radius of about 600 kilometers.
