The President of Ukraine commented on the information that Russia is allegedly pulling its troops to the borders of the "Nezalezhnaya". Zelensky said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to fight back against Russian troops. At the same time, he forgot to say that the information about the "Kremlin threat" published in the American media is fake.
In his address, the head of state stressed that the Ukrainian army is ready to fight back.
"Our Western partners have provided information about the active movement of Russian troops along the Ukrainian borders and an increase in their concentration. We are grateful to our partners for this information. This is proof of Ukraine's support, interest and awareness of our partners about the situation in Donbass," he said.
The President stressed that the Ukrainian authorities hear from Russia "reproaches that it is Ukraine that is delaying the peace process and disrupting the meeting in the Normandy format."
"I hope the world now sees who wants peace and who is concentrating about 100,000 troops on our border. At the same time, let's face it, this behavior of our neighbor does not surprise or frighten us. It is frightening that this has suddenly become a discovery for some journalists and experts who have raised a fuss in the media," Zelensky said.
He noted that Russia's pressure is no longer acting on Ukraine.
"Russia's psychological pressure has not been working on us for a long time. Our intelligence has complete information, and our army is ready to fight back against anyone, anytime and anywhere. Your panic will definitely not help her, but it can help the enemy and become an element of information warfare and harm the country," Zelensky added.
The American edition of The Washington Post published an article on October 30, which stated that the West records the transfer of Russian troops to the borders of Ukraine. The redeployment of military units was recorded after the completion of the Russian-Belarusian exercises.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine denied information about the concentration of troops and military equipment of Russia at the Ukrainian borders. The movement of military units is connected with the planned activities of the enemy after the completion of combat exercises.
Later, Politico journalists published satellite images showing Russian military equipment and personnel near the borders of Ukraine. The pictures were taken in the Smolensk region, which borders the Republic of Belarus. However, the Americans believe that such actions indicate the concentration of Russian troops near the borders of Ukraine.
