Soviet propaganda film the 1973 film "The Secret and the Obvious. The goals and deeds of the Zionists" are included in the list of extremist materials by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, according to the agency's website.
"The goals and deeds of the Zionists", which is a black-and-white film lasting from 1 hour 28 minutes 01 seconds to 1 hour 28 minutes 16 seconds, which begins with an image of ancient sculptures and text on the screen: "This film sets out the facts ...".
The decision to ban the painting was made by Syktyvkar City Court in July of this year. It became the 5218th material recognized as extremist in Russia.
The film was released in 1973 by the Central Documentary Film Studio, but is considered pseudo-documentary.
It reflects the prevailing anti-Zionist point of view in the ideology of the USSR at that time. The picture was not shown in a wide box office. However, there is a digital copy of it on the Internet, TASS says.
