In Russia, the modernization of the employment service will begin, so that applicants can more easily find the right vacancy, and the employer can find a specialist. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Monday, November 8, at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.
"In order to make job search more convenient for potential employees, we will begin the modernization of the public employment service of the population. All services in this area will be available through the portal "Work in Russia", - said Mishustin.
He clarified that modern technologies will effectively help applicants find suitable vacancies, and enterprises — the right specialists.
In addition, according to the Prime Minister, the government of the Russian Federation has approved a program of digital transformation of the social sphere, according to which the state will implement four projects in the next 10 years.
"The first of them concerns the digital transformation of the social sphere. The main task is to improve the social security system and labor relations through the use of artificial intelligence, big data analysis and processing technology, to make state assistance more targeted and proactive," Mishustin said.
He also assured that such changes will allow Russian citizens to receive assistance without contacting the agencies. To do this, first of all, according to Mishustin, it is necessary to create a single centralized digital platform in the social sphere.
Earlier, on March 1, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation approved the Concept of digital transformation of the social sphere until 2025. It was noted that gradually by 2025, all social support measures will be transferred to an electronic format and will be provided to citizens without applications and supporting documents.
At the same time, on October 18, the Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadaev said that electronic passports will appear in three regions of Russia by the end of 2022. According to him, the electronic passport of a citizen will be presented in two forms - as a smart card and as an application with a QR code.
On July 31, the Government of the Russian Federation extended the simplified procedure for registering the unemployed until December 31, 2021. It is noted that the procedure in force since last year provides for the possibility of submitting an application for registration as an unemployed person through the website "Work in Russia". It also allows you to apply for unemployment benefits through your personal account on the public services portal. Such regulations exempt citizens from the need to visit employment services.
