Yerevan. November 7. INTERFAX - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with Armenian Public Television on Sunday evening that Azerbaijan is taking actions in Nagorno-Karabakh that discredit Russian peacekeepers.
"Azerbaijan is taking actions in Nagorno-Karabakh that discredit the activities of Russian peacekeepers," Pashinyan said.
The Armenian Prime Minister also said that he considers Azerbaijan's statements that Armenia does not respond to peace proposals strange.
"Firstly, the peace proposal is not a monopoly of Azerbaijan. We made such a proposal ourselves. Azerbaijan's statements are strange. Armenia said that it is ready for peace, and stressed that the goal of the negotiation process within the OSCE Minsk Group is to achieve peace. We are ready for these discussions, they should be conducted in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group with the discussion of the settlement of the Karabakh conflict," Pashinyan said.
He also stated that the possible process of demarcation and delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is not related to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict and the opening of regional transport communications.
