Tens of billions of dollars - foreign orders for Russian weapons are growing

With the advent of the era of drones and robots, the demand for domestic air defense systems and electronic warfare has increased.

About ten countries are interested in Russian S-400 air defense systems, said Dmitry Shugaev, director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC).

In a comment to RBC, he noted that the portfolio of orders for Russian samples exceeded $ 52 billion.

"I think that in the next three to five years, we will not reduce the work for the industry in the direction of military-technical cooperation," Shugaev is convinced.

He stressed that Russia supports cooperation in the military-technical sphere with 100 countries, and supplies are carried out to more than 50 states.
