TSAMTO, November 2. Russia and Belarus have not yet started contractual negotiations on the supply of S-400 air defense systems, but there are no obstacles to the sale of Triumphs to Minsk.
This, as RIA Novosti reports, was stated by the director of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Dmitry Shugaev.
"We will inform you when we start concrete negotiations. As for the volume of potential supply, it will be determined in the relevant contract documents," D. Shugaev told RBC, answering the question whether there have already been any proposals from Belarus on the S-400.
The Director of the Federal Customs Service noted that he sees no obstacles to potential deliveries of the S-400 system to Belarus. "After all, we live in the same Union State. But it is at least incorrect to talk in advance about any discounts or about the final price of the transaction. We will proceed from the needs of the Belarusian side and from our capabilities," he added.
D.Shugaev said that to date, about 10 countries have shown interest in the Russian S-400 Triumph systems.
