TSAMTO, October 29. A conference was held at the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, at which representatives of the host countries brought the results of the ArMI-2021 competitions on national territories to the military attaches of foreign states.
In addition, during the conference, proposals were presented for discussion on the distribution of ArMI-2022 contests between countries and their venues.
Representatives of the military departments of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Serbia and Sri Lanka participated in the conference via video link. The conference was also attended by military attaches from more than 30 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and America.
The conference participants highly appreciated the games held and noted that despite the difficult epidemiological situation, the holding of ARMI-2021 was the key to the further development of international military cooperation between the military departments of the participating countries.
The chief judge of ARMI-2021, Major General Alexander Peryazev, noted that all the host countries of the games took a responsible approach to holding competitions on their territories and made maximum organizational efforts to prepare them.
"We hope that next year the geography of countries wishing to hold ArMI-2022 contests will only expand. The 2022 Army International Games will be held from August 13 to 27. During the games, it is planned to hold more than 30 international competitions with the maximum expansion of their geography to 15 countries," A.Peryazev said.
Representatives of the 12th Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation presented to the conference participants the specifics and procedure for conducting a new competition of ammunition transportation units "Special Jerk".
Also, within the framework of the planning conference, a meeting of the international organizing committee for the preparation of ARMI-2022 was held, at which participants and organizers of the games discussed a number of issues related to the Provisions on Judging, the work of the Main Judging Commission, the distribution of competitions between countries, the organization of information support.
According to the results of the 2021 Army International Games, 17 countries won medals of various denominations. The first team place was taken by the Russian national team (first places – 20, second - 13, third - 4), the second - the team of Uzbekistan (4 first, 9 second, 3 third), the third place was taken by the Chinese national team, which won 3 first places, 11 second and 5 third. Also during the games, the servicemen of Russia, Belarus, India, China and Uzbekistan set 33 ArMI records.
277 teams from 42 countries took part in 34 competitions of the Army International Games-2021 on the territory of 11 states, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
