Lukashenko promised a tough reaction to the Western advance of troops to the borders of the Union State

Minsk. October 28. INTERFAX - The President of Belarus accused the West of looking for a reason to advance its troops to the borders of the Union State.

"Poles on the border with Belarus will fight illegal migration with the help of Leopard tanks. Perhaps you will be surprised by this. But I do not know how to fight with tanks against civilians. They are just looking for any excuse to move their troops closer to our borders. Read - to the borders of the Union State," Lukashenko said on Thursday at a meeting with the Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov.

In this way, he "reacted to the ongoing militarization along the western borders of Belarus," the state agency BelTA reports.
