Moscow. October 27. INTERFAX - Peru actively operates Russian helicopters and anti-tank complexes, there are plans to expand partnership with this country, said the head of Rosoboronexport Alexander Mikheev.
"We are ready to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the interests of the armed forces of Peru, as well as other law enforcement agencies of the country, including the police and special operations forces," said Mikheev, whose words were quoted in the press service on Wednesday.
He said that Peru is a long-standing and reliable partner of the company, successfully operating Russian aircraft and helicopters, armored vehicles and anti-tank systems,
Rosoboronexport JSC is the organizer of the unified Russian exposition at the International Defense Technology Exhibition SITDEF 2021, which will be held from October 28 to 31 in Lima.
"During the exhibition, we will discuss cooperation with partners in the field of training specialists in the operation of Russian weapons, as well as issues of after-sales service of previously purchased equipment," Mikheev said.
