DUBAI, October 26. /tass/. Sputnix presented a new nanosatellite platform at the 72nd International Astronautical Congress in Dubai. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the organization.
"The company demonstrated the new SXC6 nanosatellite platform for Earth observation and projects in the field of aerospace education," the company noted.
According to the press service, the platform is a set of on-board service systems and structural elements designed for the development of small satellites in CubeSat 6U formats. Based on it, the OrbiCraft-Pro SXC6 remote sensing satellite was created, which has compact dimensions (10x20x30 cm) and a mass of 8.5 kg. It has an experimental camera with high resolution - up to 6 meters per pixel.
In turn, Vladislav Ivanenko, CEO of Sputnix, added that during the congress the company spoke about the results of satellite missions using a new model of nanosatellite and about solutions for aerospace education.
The company's exposition is located at the Roscosmos stand.
The 72nd International Astronautical Congress is being held at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 25 to 29 under the auspices of the International Federation of Astronautics. The event is attended by heads of space agencies from different countries, representatives of the space industry, equipment manufacturers and scientists specializing in space-related issues. Experts present their achievements and discuss plans for future space exploration missions.
