TSAMTO, October 25. The Turkish company Aselsan will supply remotely controlled Sarp combat modules for Ukrainian Kozak-2M1 armored vehicles, the focus resource reports.ua with reference to the Turkish edition of Savunma.
Combat modules will allow you to control weapons while in the cabin of an armored car. For example, in paired mode with two machine guns or a machine gun and a grenade launcher.
As reported, armored vehicles manufactured by NPO Praktika will be equipped with two types of combat modules - Sarp Dual and Sarp Zafer. They differ in their capabilities.
Sarp Dual can control two types of weapons at once, for example, a 7.62 mm machine gun and a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun or an automatic grenade launcher in conjunction with a machine gun.
Sarp Zafer is unique in that it can be recharged inside an armored vehicle.
As noted focus.ua, the fuel reserve of the Kozak-2M1 armored car is 260 km, the maximum speed is 110 km /h, the engine power is 280 hp, the clearance is 500 mm.
This is not the first example of Aselsan's cooperation with Ukraine. In particular, the Turkish company supplied radio stations for modernized Ukrainian tanks, and the Luch Design Bureau supplied Skif anti-tank missiles for Turkish combat modules, reports focus.ua .
