MOSCOW, Oct 25, - RIA Novosti. Moscow expects to send humanitarian aid to Afghanistan this week, including medicines, Zamir Kabulov, special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Afghanistan, head of the second department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told RIA Novosti.
"We are very much counting on what will happen this week... food and medicine," Kabulov said.
He noted that the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are also involved in the humanitarian operation.
"The operation will include not only the delivery of humanitarian aid, but also the removal of Russian citizens and students," Kabulov said.
