In Tajikistan, at the Harbmaydon training ground, Belarusian servicemen, together with colleagues from Russia and Kazakhstan, worked out actions to search for a militant camp near the border with Afghanistan.
The training was attended by a consolidated detachment of cadets of the Faculty of Military Intelligence of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus and military personnel of a separate special purpose company.
"A feature of the performance of the combat training task was limited visibility. During the active phase of the exercise, a sandstorm arose at the Harbmaydon training ground," the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus reports.
Despite the elements, the servicemen blocked the militant camp, inflicted fire damage on the enemy and stormed the buildings.
Recall that about four thousand people and more than 500 pieces of equipment participate in the exercises "Combat Brotherhood-2021". The transfer of people and equipment from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia was carried out by air and by rail. Motorized rifle, tank and other units of the 201st military base of the Russian Federation marched to the training grounds from their towns in Dushanbe and Bokhtar.
