Yerevan. October 21. INTERFAX - Armenian President Armen Sarkissian called the serious problem of Turkey's participation as a NATO member in the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh in the fall of 2020.
"At a meeting with the NATO Secretary General's special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Kolomina, the Armenian President stated that the active involvement of NATO member Turkey in the 44-day war is incomprehensible and excessively problematic," the presidential press service reports.
The NATO representative is in Yerevan as part of a regional visit.
At the same time, the President stated the importance of Armenia's partnership relations with NATO.
