TSAMTO, October 21. As indicated in the report of the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), approved by the Government in Sarajevo on October 7, the revenue of manufacturers of defense products in 2020 amounted to 258.7 million convertible marks ($152.76 million).
This represents 85% of the revenue of defense sector enterprises received in the previous year.
According to Jane's Defense Weekly with reference to the report, the profit received last year amounted to 17.36 million convertible marks ($10.25 million), which is 40% of the 2019 figure.
As of 2020, 3,708 people were employed in the defense industrial complex of the Federation, which is 5% more than in the previous year.
The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina, the second is the Republika Srpska.
