The prototype of the PPK-20 submachine gun from the Kalashnikov group of companies was shown on video in all details. The video allows you to examine in great detail the flame extinguisher, Picatinny rail and other features of the weapon.
Recall that for the first time the PPK-20 was presented to the general public at the Army-2021 forum. The length of a submachine gun with a folded telescopic butt is only 41 centimeters, and in the combat position - 60-66 centimeters. The mass without ammunition is 2.6 kilograms.
The updated PPK-20 is also equipped with a Picatinny rail, which allows you to install tactical flashlights, optical sights and infrared designators on it.
Weapon developers claim that the 9x19 mm cartridges used in the PPK-20 can penetrate bulletproof vests with Class 3A protection. The rate of fire is 800 rounds per minute. The capacity of the sector magazine is 30 rounds.
It is assumed that the PPK-20 will be placed in a wearable emergency reserve of pilots and used by pilots for self-defense after ejection.
