ALMA-ATA, October 18 - RIA Novosti. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the law on ratification of the agreement on the joint (unified) communication system of the armed forces of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the press service of the head of state reported.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Timur Dandybayev reported that the agreement provides for the creation of a joint unified communication system of the armed forces, the main tasks of which are: providing communication services and ensuring the exchange of all types of information in the management system of the armed forces and between the armed forces of the states parties to the agreement, ensuring the functioning of joint systems of interaction in the military sphere created in the CIS format.
It is assumed that in order to ensure the functioning of the joint integrated communication system, the authorized bodies of the parties can use the resources of the communication networks of the armed forces of the States parties to the agreement.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the joint communication system created on the basis of unified technical approaches will increase the combat capability of the armed forces of the CIS states.
