TSAMTO, October 18. In the Military Innovative Technopolis "ERA", the selection of operators for military service in scientific companies has been completed.
The work on military professional orientation in the scientific companies of Technopolis was carried out in 130 universities, including those identified by the Ministry of Education and Science as top-100, such as Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Kazan Federal University, Novosibirsk State University, Tomsk State University, Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology and others.
Six large industrial enterprises were involved in the selection. To date, for the first time, the element of supporting candidates at early stages is being tested, parallel established schemes of interaction of early support and cooperation in research areas with universities and defense industry enterprises are being used.
It is especially worth noting the model of interaction with the enterprises of the defense industry of the Tula region, which has successfully proven itself to date. In addition to scientific research conducted with specialists, enterprises of the Tula region directly participate in the selection of candidates for the scientific company, and upon completion of the service, graduates return to the enterprises from which they were selected. The result of such activities are joint projects, conducting field tests and approbations at the Rayevsky landfill. Operators gain new knowledge and competencies necessary to work in the defense industry in their region.
In the course of the work, more than 8 thousand candidates from 28 regions of Russia were considered, of which interviews were conducted with 2,636 potential operators, according to the results of which 284 candidates were selected, including 58 were accompanied before their graduation from universities.
In relation to the selected candidates to all those considered during the preliminary selection, the competition amounted to 29 people per place, and the total average score of recruits for a diploma of higher education exceeded 4.7.

The selected candidates took an active part in scientific activities. During their studies at universities, they have written more than 200 scientific articles, received 10 patents for inventions and utility models, 12 certificates of registration of databases and computer programs, candidates have won more than 60 victories in scientific competitions, competitions and Olympiads, 24 candidates have won grants and scholarships, 58 candidates have sports achievements in military-applied sports, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
