The United States decided to launch an unknown military missile system over the Pacific Ocean in the period from October 20 to October 29, Interfax reports with reference to the navigation warning for pilots and navigators.
It is noted that the launch is planned from the Kalyak test site off the southern coast of Alaska to the area of Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.
The flight range based on the stated coordinates will be about two thousand kilometers. The specified test site is used by the Pentagon to test various military systems, including anti-missile systems, and to launch light launch vehicles with small spacecraft.
Earlier, the US Army and the American military-industrial corporation Lockheed Martin conducted tests of the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM). During the tests, a missile called the "killer" of Russian air defense systems, for example, the S-400 Triumph, was launched at the Vanderberg Air Base of the US Air Force in California towards the Pacific Ocean.
