Baku. October 14th. INTERFAX-AZERBAIJAN - The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan declares an intense exchange of fire "between illegal Armenian armed formations in Karabakh, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed."
"An exchange of fire between illegal Armenian armed detachments took place on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed. First (...) they engaged in hand-to-hand combat with other comrades. Then an explosion occurred at their location," the Ministry of Defense reports.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry says that "according to preliminary information, there are dead and wounded as a result of the shooting."
