Moscow. October 14th. INTERFAX - The strengthening of NATO and the United States leads to the preservation of a high level of tension in Eastern Europe, said Anatoly Sidorov, chief of the CSTO Joint Staff.
"The implementation of the project to strengthen the strike and offensive potential of the North Atlantic Alliance, as well as the expansion of the US military presence in Eastern Europe, along with the practical elaboration of plans for offensive operations during operational and combat training activities, create real prerequisites for maintaining a high level of military and political tension in the Eastern European region," Sidorov told reporters on Thursday.
