Moscow. October 14th. INTERFAX - The creation of the AUKUS bloc (Australia, the USA and the UK) undermines regional stability, Russian President Vladimir Putin believes.
As part of an interview with CNBC, Putin was asked if he was concerned about the AUKUS alliance, whether it creates "potential tension and whether it is fraught with a "new cold war."
"The creation of some blocs, including the one you mentioned, the United States - Great Britain - Australia, certainly undermines regional stability, because, in my opinion, being friends with each other is good, but "being friends against someone" is bad. This undermines the stability that we all talk about and that we all care about," Putin said.
