MOSCOW, October 13. /TASS/. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at a meeting with President of the Republic of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania discussed issues of alliance and security in Transcaucasia. This was reported on Wednesday in the Russian military department.
"During the meeting, military aspects of the implementation of the treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on alliance and strategic partnership, as well as security issues in the Transcaucasian region were discussed," the message reads.
Earlier it was reported that Bzhania went on a working visit to Moscow, where he will hold a number of meetings in the presidential administration and in the government of the Russian Federation.
