Moscow. October 13. INTERFAX - The special services of the CIS countries exchange information on the situation in Afghanistan on a daily basis, the existing threats in this country have intensified, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin said.
"Over the past years, every intelligence and special service of the CIS countries has been following the development of the situation in Afghanistan quite closely, we have exchanged intelligence, operational, signal information almost on a daily basis, understanding what threat comes from the territory of Afghanistan in relation to each of our countries," Naryshkin told reporters following a meeting of the heads of security agencies and intelligence services of the CIS.
"We continue to closely monitor the actions of the new government and also exchange (information) in such an operational mode. The exchange is very, very useful," Naryshkin stressed.
