MOSCOW, October 13. /TASS/. The sniper sight of large multiplicity with a wide range of corrections was developed in Russia at the Krasnogorsk Plant named after S. A. Zverev (KMZ, part of the Shvabe holding of Rostec State Corporation). This was reported to TASS by the General director of KMZ Alexander Novikov.
"We received a sight with a sufficiently large range of vertical corrections, which allows it to be more versatile and work quite calmly at distances up to 1.5 thousand meters," he said.
According to him, the multiplicity of the sight is variable and ranges from 5 to 20. The product has an index of 5-20x56 and will be produced under the famous Zenit trademark. "The choice for the caliber used is up to the shooter, exactly the one that will ensure the most effective shooting at the required distance," Novikov stressed the ability of the new sight to withstand the recoil of even the largest calibers.
Novikov pointed out that Zenit sniper sights proved to be on an equal footing with the best foreign models at the Army International Games - 2021.
"With this aim, they took first place in the championship of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in tactical shooting (the national stage of the Army International Games - approx. TASS) in the "Sniping" nomination," he said. According to him, the sight of the Krasnogorsk plant proved to be on an equal footing with the Austrian product of the Kahles company.
Krasnogorsk Plant plans to show all the latest sights at the International Exhibition of Weapons and Hunting Goods OREEXPO 2021, which will be held from October 14 to 17 in Moscow.
