Belgrade. October 11. INTERFAX - Russia expects to increase the supply of weapons sights to Serbia in the coming years, the CEO of the sHvabe holding (part of Rostec) said Alexey Patrikeev.
"Serbia is a promising market for us. The consumer's interest in high-quality optics is quite developed here and the demand for high-tech products is growing. In the next couple of years, there is an intention to strengthen its presence in this and nearby geographical regions," Patrikeev said, quoted by the ROSTEC press service.
The head of sHvabe noted that currently the company exports mainly sights and components to Serbia, including civilian ones.
On Monday, the International Exhibition of Weapons and Military Equipment "Partner-2021" started in Belgrade, Rosoboronexport will organize a single Russian exposition at it. sHvabe Holding presents collimator, optical and prismatic sights, as well as accessories on it.
"For the first time in Belgrade, SM-N1, N2 collimators and a 1-5x24 KMZ pancratic sight, as well as a line of sights of the Vologda Optical-Mechanical Plant (VOMZ) for hunting and sports shooting are presented. At the same time, the Lytkarinsky Optical Glass Factory with a lightweight silicon carbide mirror was included in the list of exhibitors," the press service reported.
