Kiev. October 10th. INTERFAX-UKRAINE - Shipments of international technical assistance from the United States arrived at Kiev's Boryspil airport on Sunday, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports.
The delivery was carried out as part of the implementation of the agreements reached during the recent visit of President Vladimir Zelensky to Washington.
They relate to the provision of additional assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the US government.
"In addition to the previously agreed volume of $250 million, Ukraine receives medical equipment, weapons, necessary ammunition, precision weapons and radar surveillance equipment for another $60 million from American partners," the Defense Ministry informs.
"The cargo arrives in several batches, one of which arrived today, October 10, at Boryspil International Airport," the message says.
It clarifies that in general, since 2014, Ukraine has already received logistical support from the United States totaling more than $ 2 billion.
