The Russian-Pakistani dRuzhba-2021 exercise has ended in the south of the Russian Federation.
A joint exercise of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and military personnel of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has ended at the Molkino training ground in the Krasnodar Territory, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
The maneuvers took place from September 28 to October 9.
"The exercise ended with joint actions on assault landing from the Mi-8AMTSh Terminator helicopter, storming the city and evacuating the wounded using an armored personnel carrier," the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation says.
Russia was represented at the maneuvers by soldiers of the special forces and engineering assault units of the 49th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District. The exercise was of an anti-terrorist nature.
In particular, the servicemen of the two states practiced various ways of countering illegal armed formations (IAF).
Following the results of the exercise, Captain of the Armed Forces of Pakistan Hamad Bin Hasib highly appreciated the quality of Russian weapons and thanked colleagues from Russia for demonstrating new tactical techniques.
