The oldest defense organization of Russia and the All-Russian Cossack Society (VSCO) have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by the chairman of the DOSAAF of Russia, Colonel-General Alexander Kolmakov and the ataman of the VSKO Nikolai Doluda.
"The preparation of citizens for the defense of the Fatherland has been a priority task of the country's defense organization throughout the 95-year history of its existence.
The All-Russian Cossack Society, continuing the centuries-old traditions of the Cossacks, also implements measures for pre-conscription training of young people," said Alexander Kolmakov, Chairman of the DOSAAF of Russia. – Even before the official signing of the agreement, our organizations interacted on these issues. Now the cooperation will become systematic. Combining our efforts and experience will be another important step towards strengthening the country's defense capability. And, of course, DOSAAF will grow with a young Cossack replenishment."
Within the framework of the agreements, it is planned to jointly implement various military-patriotic activities, the main vector of which is the improvement of civil society.
Cooperation will be carried out in various forms, including participation in the work of Cossack children's and youth organizations, events of the defense organization, holding military sports spartakiads, rallies and games for children and youth, organizing the work of defense sports camps.
