TSAMTO, October 6. At the International Mine Action Center (IPC) For the first time, servicemen from Burkina Faso have completed training in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
A group of 12 military personnel began training in early August 2021. The sappers were trained according to the programs of humanitarian demining, countering improvised explosive devices and preparing the calculations of the mine search service.
The training of African military personnel in the field of humanitarian demining was conducted at the facilities of the educational and material base (classrooms and training complexes) equipped with the experience of performing tasks in Syria and training Syrian military personnel.
At the end of the training, a final exam was held with the acceptance of credits and the issuance of a state diploma of the established sample.
In total, more than 1,000 foreign servicemen from near and far abroad have been trained at the International Mine Action Center since 2015, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
