"One of the most fashionable trends now is the so-called Indo-Pacific strategies, which were invented by the USA and embodied by the QUAD quartet (USA, Japan, India, Australia) and recently the creation of AUKUS. All this is in line with the erosion of universal formats in the Asia-Pacific region, which have existed all their lives under the auspices of ASEAN, and they were all ASEAN-centric," the minister said during his speech at the 29th Assembly of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy (SWAP).
