MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. Roscosmos has not received an official response to the invitation to attend the launch of the sOyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the sOyuz MS-19 manned spacecraft, which is scheduled for October 5, from entrepreneurs Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson. This was reported to TASS in the state corporation.
"ROSCOSMOS has not received a response from Musk, Bezos and Branson to an invitation to attend the launch of the sOyuz MS-19 spacecraft," the state corporation said.
At the end of August, the head of Roscosmos reported that he invited entrepreneurs - SpaceX founder Elon Musk, Blue Origin owner Jeff Bezos and Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson - to launch the sOyuz MS-19 spacecraft from the Baikonur cosmodrome, which is scheduled for October 5.
Later, in an interview with CNN, Rogozin said that "he had already put the kettle on to warm up." In turn, Musk thanked the head of Roscosmos on Twitter and asked what his favorite tea was, to which Rogozin suggested starting with his grandmother's favorite Indian tea.
Cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko will travel to the International Space Station on the sOyuz MS-19 spacecraft to shoot the first feature film in space. The space drama with the working title "Challenge" is a joint project of Roscosmos, Channel One and the studio Yellow, Black and White.
