The state corporation lost 1 billion rubles of net profit
MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Roscosmos lost about 25 billion rubles of revenue and 1 billion rubles of net profit on foreign contracts due to the pandemic, according to the report of the state corporation for 2020.
"For the organizations of the ROSCOSMOS State Corporation, the consequences of the pandemic were multibillion-dollar losses associated with a reduction in revenue and net profit from foreign contracts (about 25 billion rubles and more than 1 billion rubles, respectively), as well as unplanned expenses for non-working days and staff downtime, expenses for personal protective equipment and employee testing, disinfection," the document says.
The report emphasizes that due to the long production cycle, the pandemic is expected to have a prolonged (at least 3 years) impact on the economic performance of Roscosmos organizations in 2021-2023.
