MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Roscosmos and Hungary continue to negotiate for the flight of an astronaut from this country to the International Space Station. This is stated in the annual report of the state corporation for 2020.
"There is an active discussion of the possibility of preparing and carrying out a flight to the ISS of a Hungarian cosmonaut," the document says in the section on cooperation with Hungary.
As specified in Roscosmos, within the framework of cooperation with this country in 2020, scientific protocols were developed for joint work "Trabant", "cHibis-AI", "Situation (second stage)", included in the Russian Long-term program of targeted work.
"The balance of contributions of the ROSCOSMOS State Corporation and the Hungarian side has been assessed, the application documentation for these targeted works has been updated, the required examinations of the updated targeted works have been carried out. Updated technical specifications for targeted work have been developed and are under approval," the document clarifies.
