The All-Russian public-state organization "Voluntary Society for Assistance to the Army, Aviation and Navy" and the All-Russian Public Organization "Russian Geographical Society" have signed a cooperation agreement.
The document was signed by the chairman of the DOSAAF of Russia, Colonel-General Alexander Kolmakov and the first Vice-President of the Russian Civil Society Nikolai Kasimov. This step will be an important step in expanding the range of joint work on patriotic and moral education of young people.
Chairman of the DOSAAF of Russia Alexander Kolmakov stressed that the signed document is the starting point for the development of cooperation between the DOSAAF of Russia and the regional branches of the Russian Geographical Society.
"Today is an important day – we are uniting the forces of the oldest geographical society and the oldest defense organization," Alexander Kolmakov stressed. – Like DOSAAF, the Russian Geographical Society has a wide network of regional branches. This means that our joint projects will cover the whole of Russia."
A wide range of activities are planned as part of the implementation of the Agreement. Including the development of military-historical and ecological-natural tourism, the study of the history of the country and the military-historical heritage of the small Motherland.
