The universities of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan will train military personnel for foreign countries.
The corresponding resolution was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on September 20.
As reported by gazeta.uz ., the Ministry of Defense will organize the study of military personnel of foreign states in military universities of Uzbekistan on the basis of an official appeal of foreign states in coordination with the Security Council under the President of the country.
Upon graduation, foreign military personnel will be awarded the military rank of "lieutenant" and the category of specialty. The training will be conducted on a free, preferential and paid basis.
Currently, the Academy of the Armed Forces, the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces and three military schools are engaged in training officers in Uzbekistan - Chirchik Higher Tank Command and Engineering, Samarkand Higher Military Automotive Command and Engineering and Jizzakh Higher Military Aviation, as well as the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications.
