The ISKRA Scientific and Production Association (NGO) (part of Roscosmos) discussed at a meeting on the introduction of innovative and high-tech products in Gazprom PJSC a project to create a constellation of satellites for monitoring objects of a Unified gas supply system. This was reported to TASS by the NGO's press service on Tuesday.
"One of the topical topics of the event was the project of creating small spacecraft for monitoring objects of a Unified gas supply system based on a universal space platform," the press service noted.
As specified in the NGO "Iskra", such cooperation will solve the problem of environmental protection, including the control of greenhouse gas emissions.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the administration and subsidiaries of PJSC GAZPROM, leading developers, manufacturers, suppliers of equipment and materials. Also within the framework of the event, the tasks of introducing innovative technologies, digitalization of the gas industry were considered.
In turn, Deputy General Director - Sales Director of NPO ISKRA Arseniy Lobanov presented a report on solutions for gas pumping units. "The specific technical solutions presented at the meeting will allow us both to modernize the existing fleet of units and should become quality standards for new products," Lobanov said.
At the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021", NPO ISKRA signed contracts with major oil and gas companies for the supply of equipment worth 6 billion rubles, including for the supply of gas pumping units, compressors and sets of material parts.
