Hong Kong. September 28. INTERFAX-The North Korean military launched at least one missile towards the Sea of Japan, the Yonhap news agency reported on Tuesday, citing the South Korean military.
According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea (JCS), the DPRK fired at least one unidentified projectile into the Sea of Japan on Tuesday.
No details have been announced yet.
Meanwhile, Japanese media, citing the government, report that, presumably, the DPRK launched a ballistic missile.
If it is confirmed that the projectile is a ballistic missile, it will be the third such launch this year.
On September 15, North Korea test-fired two short-range missiles in the Sea of Japan.
